Frownies pH Balancing Face Wash is a concentrated soap-free wash with fruit extracts that gently but deeply cleans out the pores from embedded oil, wax and trapped pollution build-up.
 
The calming freshness of Lavender essential oil and the cleaning power of Soapwort and Sucrose help detoxify and balance the skin's surface without soap and detergent dryness. *Note: If you have dry skin do not use hot water on the face it is very drying.

  • Decyl Polyglucoside is a coconut and corn sugar derived cleanser.

    Glycerin is 100% natural vegetable derived humectant that helps the skin hold water. Vegetable glycerin, or glycerol, is a clear, odorless liquid produced from plant oils, typically palm oil, soy, or coconut. Palm and coconut oils are natural triglyceride mixtures; each triglyceride is composed of three fatty acids esterified with glycerin. Vegetable glycerin has a number of valuable applications that include soothing skin irritation, protect against infection and promote wound healing. Studies show that applying glycerin-containing products may protect your skin against irritants and microbes, as well as soothe inflamed or wounded skin.

    Willow Bark Extract is a natural preservative with cleansing properties.

    Sucrose Cocoate a coconut and beet sugar derived, moisturizer and humectant.

    Propanediol is considered a safe and appropriate humectant and stabilizer, not just for cosmetic products, but also for ingested food products like certain baked goods. This ingredient has approval from EcoCert™ (an international recognized natural and organic seal and the Natural Product Association (US based natural personal care certification). Made from fermented corn.

    Gluconodeltalactone and Sodium Benzoate is accepted by ECOCERT as a preservative in certified organic cosmetics. A natural preservative that is a combination of a naturally occurring food additive glucono delta lactone, derived from corn, and a food grade preservative sodium benzoate, the sodium salt.

    Soapwort Extract is a member of the Clove family. Soapwort is a low-growing perennial shrub with a thick tap root used in herbal medicines and for making soaps.
    Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein is a skin conditioner and hydrator.

    Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a cleanser from coconut.

    Tangerine Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolii (Lavender) Flower oil, and Citrus Paradisii (Grapefruit) Peel Oil are essential oils to cleanse, balance and give an emotion lifting aroma.

    Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Extract, and Citrusmedica Limonium (Lemon) Peel Extract are fruit extracts to cleanse and balance your skin.

    Tocopheryl Acetate Vitamin E is a preservative.

  • Q: Can I remove my makeup with Frownies Face Wash? 
    A: Yes if your makeup is on the heavy side you can wash, rinse and repeat. 


    Q: Should I wash my face more than once a day? 
    A: Frownies is a gentle face wash and can be used more that once a day. If you are out in the city where there is a lot of pollution you may want to wash when arriving home and again if you go out for the evening as well as in the morning.
