Which type is right for me?
This largely depends on which areas you’d like to target.
For elevens and crow’s feet, we recommend our triangular shapes: Smoothies Triangle or Smoothies Wide. Smoothies Wide are a larger version of our original Triangle patches, allowing for more coverage.
Smoothies Variety contain different shapes of strips for all areas of the face including forehead lines, crow’s feet, elevens, and lip lines. Our Full Coverage product contains a variety of larger strips, allowing you to target larger areas of your face.
For forehead lines, we recommend Smoothies Long.
How do they work?
Smoothies hold skin firmly in place during times when your skin would wrinkle, such as when you sleep or look at your phone, to help lessen the appearance of wrinkles.
How long will my results last?
Everyone's skin type is different, so we can't give a concrete answer on how long your results will last. We recommend regular use, as Smoothies provide temporary results.
How long can I wear Smoothies?
You can wear Smoothies everyday if you’d like, just be sure not to wear them longer than 10 hours in a 24 hour period.
How frequently should I wear Smoothies?
We recommend 4-5x per week to start in order to give your skin some nights without the patches. You can wear Smoothies everyday if you’d like, just be sure not to wear them longer than 10 hours in a 24 hour period. Since everyone’s skin is different, you should always monitor your skin while using our product to avoid irritation, and consult with a skincare professional if you have any questions or concerns.
Are Smoothies reusable?
Some customers find that the strips are reusable one or two times. However, the reusability is lessened with the use of moisturizer or other products. Smoothies cannot be cleaned before reuse, as this interferes with the adhesive. That being said, as an example, our Triangle pack includes 144 strips which generally lasts most users 2+ months (when applying two strips per daily use).
Can I use retinol with Smoothies?
We do not recommend using Smoothies with Retinol as it may cause irritation.
How long should I stop Retinol use before using Smoothies?
Everyone's skin varies, so we can't give a definite answer. We recommend testing on an inconspicuous part of your face before use, as well as consulting with a dermatologist prior to incorporating new products to your skincare routine, especially if you have specific concerns.
What to do if the edges dig into skin?
Sometimes the edges of the strips can leave marks, but simply apply a used strip to remove.
Can I use Smoothies after botox?
Yes, you are able to use them after Botox.
Can I use them with moisturizer?
Yes, you can use Smoothies with moisturizer.
We recommend the following:
Use a light moisturizer (not heavy/ greasy) and let it dry completely before applying your Smoothies. If your Smoothies adhere well after your moisturizer, they will be effective.
Please consult with your dermatologist prior to use if you have any questions or concerns.
Can I use Smoothies under my eyes?
We do not recommend using Smoothies under the eyes due to their strong adhesive properties, and the sensitive nature of that area of skin.
How do I remove adhesive residue?
We recommend using a cleanser or toner to remove any adhesive residue.
Why don’t the strips stay on overnight?
If the Facial Adhesives do not stay on overnight, try applying the patches to cleansed skin without the use of additional skincare products (e.g. moisturizers).
The packaging looks different, has the product changed?
While our packaging artwork design has changed, our product has not changed. Our product is the same great product as in the previous packaging— we just have a new updated look.
